Have you ever wondered who prepares the environment of the church for the masses and special celebrations?
The Art and Environment Ministry does. The Art and Environment Ministry assists in celebrating the liturgical seasons of the church according to the liturgical calendar. It helps the parishioners to be aware of the events and educates in the different colors associated with the events throughout the year.
Celebrating the Liturgical calendar through decorating the church enhances the understanding of Catholic events throughout the year and helps other parishioners recognize that we celebrate as a family-together in our Catholic faith.
How the Ministry Works: The Art and Environment Ministry provides flowers for the altar for the weekend Masses and special celebrations. The ministry sets up decorations in the church for the Advent and Lenten Seasons.
